23-year-old university student dies after being diagnosed with H1N1 in Juazeiro do Norte
This morning, 04, passed away the student Rafaela Callou de S? Barreto, at age 23, being diagnosed with the H1N1 flu virus. The young woman had been admitted to Cl?nica S?o Jos?, Juazeiro do Norte, on May 26, with kidney infection. The H1N1 picture was confirmed days later. Relatives reported that the disease had affected Rafaela's lungs, causing her health to suffer complications. The young woman, who was a student of Nutrition, was doing pulmonary physiotherapy, breathing with the help of appliances. The Faculty of Juazeiro do Norte, institution where the young woman studied, published a note of regret: 'The Faculty of Juazeiro do Norte expresses its regret over the death of Rafaela Callou de S? Barreto, a student of the Nutrition course. The college expresses sympathy to family and friends. '
