In little more than two months, two persons died with H1N1 in the Bahia. Of the beginning of this year up to the day 3 of March, already they are 10 notified cases of the flu, being five confirmed ones. The number is great above the registered one in the same period of 2015, when only a case was registered, of an arrived patient of Sao Paulo. The vaccine keeps on being the most efficient way, but it is applied only again in the April.
The General office of the Health of the State (Sesab) still does not know the cause of the increase of cases of the disease in this year, since the confirmed patients had no contact between them. The cases are being studied. The principal form of preventing the disease is the vaccine, which is renewed annually.
