"Twenty-one new cases have been confirmed since June 24 ? nine in Fraser Health, eight in Vancouver Coastal Health and four on Vancouver Island ? for a total of 264 cases in the province, the vast majority of which have been mild cases with patients either recovered or currently recovering. June 25, 2009"

btw, the bolded is new wording; previously they've said "with individuals either having recovered or recovering" & no comment about 'majority' or about 'mild'. This makes me suspicious about whether we have some cases that are not mild.
BC does not release the hospitalization rates directly but submits to fluwatch which reports them. For week 23, BC had 1 hospitalization (6 cumulative) for novel H1N1 http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/fluwatch/08-09/w23_09/index-eng.php
Week 24 is not out yet.
