Zoo investigates mystery rhino deaths

Four endangered white rhinoceroses have died from a mystery illness at the Taronga Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.
A spokeswoman for the zoo says the rhinos died suddenly after showing neurological symptoms such as stumbling.
Tests have so far ruled out bacterial infection, toxins and other viruses,
Zoo vets are liaising with specialists in Africa and North America and they are hoping for more answers when further tests are completed next week.
RSPCA chief inspector David O'Shannessy says zoo staff are doing everything possible to prevent further deaths.
"From the first death they obviously conducted diagnostic procedures and ran a number of tests," he said.
