Abbott signs $10m Indonesian bird flu help package
The Federal Health Minister, Tony Abbott, has signed a $10 million agreement to assist Indonesia's battle with bird flu.
The deal, signed in Jakarta, comes a day before the Prime Minister meets Indonesia's President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Mr Abbott has dropped into Jakarta to sign a new $10 million avian influenza assistance agreement with the Indonesian Government's People's Welfare Minister, Aburizal Bakrie.
The bird flu agreement is designed to help Indonesia contain the spread of the disease, a project which Indonesia says will cost $1.2 billion.
