Re: Arizona - Coconino County - 1st death

AZ State "fatality #9" was a child (young man) that I wish many of you could have known. He was so inspirational and always full of joy. I got to know this young man during the Esperanza Fire Tragedy of 2006 when he helped so many firefighters through their grief even though he was so young and was presented challenges in life. He recently made the Honor Roll for his achievements as a freshman in High School earlier this month.

In hearing of his death, it is almost unbearable to think about the pain and shock that his family is suffering.

My thoughts, prayers, and best wishes to the family and friends.

The family is a Forest Service wildland fire family, as well as a Firefighter family.
