The corresponding protocol is the slaughter of the entire poultry house. At that point, Fischer added: "Unfortunately it is the only measure there is, since it cannot be treated with any antibiotic since there is no vaccine that prevents the disease from manifesting itself, there is no other option than taking the measure of culling and bury all the birds and also the fecal matter”. The health authorities take a range of 10 kilometers to analyze from now on before the appearance of these cases of avian flu: "Since the first outbreak occurred, all the farms that are within a range of 10 kilometers were swabbed, repeating to the 14 days. It follows the same way because this farm is attached to the spotlight, so the radius doesn't vary too much."
"In that radius there are approximately 63 farms" that will be evaluated in the coming days to prevent the disease from spreading.

This week a new case of bird flu was registered in Entre Ríos and, consequently, the health authorities had to slaughter 10,000 birds to comply with the protocol. This is a layer farm located a few meters from the field where the first case was reported a few days ago, in the General Racedo area, Diamante department.
“On Monday we swabbed a farm that we had been following weekly from a neighbor very close to the focus (where the first case was registered) who is 200 or 300 meters away. It is a conventional shed that has 10,000 layers and the corresponding protocol is also being applied,” said veterinarian Mario Fischer on the air of Radio Integral. The corresponding protocol is the slaughter of the entire poultry house.
