APOPKA, Fla. --chool officials in Orange County took swift action to clean classrooms after an elementary school student went home sick on Thursday.

The Rock Springs Elementary student was sent home and parents with children at the Apopka school said more students are sick.

The parents said they're concerned over the recent Norovirus outbreak that sickened hundreds of students in Flagler County earlier in the week.

Officials at Rock Springs Elementary said they decided to play it safe and cancel science night on Thursday. The building will be thoroughly cleaned on Friday.

Parents were telephoned on Thursday to explain what was happening.
