Ongoing monitoring of samples submitted to the company underscores current evidence that pet dogs and cats are unlikely to become infected with the novel coronavirus.
Experts in both human and animal health agree that at this time, there is no evidence that pet dogs or cats can transmit SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, to people or other animals.
