Over 300 cases of measles diagnosed in Cela

Cela - At least 320 cases of measles were recorded over the past ten days in communes of Sanga and Kissanga-Kungo, in Cela district , coastal Kwanza Sul province, reported the local Health Department.

Speaking Friday to Angop, the acting head of district Health Department, Joaquim da Costa Tom?s, said that the cases have claimed nine lives and 170 people in serious health condition...

Twenty six children die from measles in Cabinda Province

Cabinda - Twenty six children died from measles, out of 445 cases recorded in the northern Cabinda Province, since the start of the outbreak in 2010, a health source has announced.


Vaccination campaigns for children between six months to five years old are taking place in the province.


There is a weak adherence of parents and tutors in the vaccination posts, says a source from the sector.
