Hyderabad: The State Government has constituted a Group of Ministers with the following Ministers, to review the status and steps taken to control Malaria in the tribal areas and H1N1 in some parts of the State erupting due to the onset of monsoon and due to the change of season; Sri Sudharshan Reddy, Minister, Medical Eduation; Sri Danam Nagender, Minister, Health, FW, APVVP & HS; Sri Pithani Satyanarayana, Minister, Aarogyasri, 104,108 & Medl. Infrastructure; Sri Botcha Satyanarayana, Minister, Panchayat Raj; Sri Anam Ram Narayana Reddy, Minister, MA&UD and Sri P.Balaraju, Minister, Tribal Welfare.

The terms of reference for the Group of Ministers are to monitor the status of Malaria in Tribal areas and H1N1 Flu in some parts of the State; to review the steps being taken by the Department of Health and the other related Departments like Tribal Welfare, Panchayat Raj and M.A. & U.D. Department to control these diseases; to take steps as necessary to bring the diseases in the Tribal areas and the H1N1 Flu under control at the earliest. The Special Chief Secretary to Government, HM&FW Department will be the Convenor of the above Group of Ministers.
