MONTGOMERY, AL - The H1N1 virus has claimed two more lives in the Tennessee Valley. There have now been 34 deaths in Alabama connected to the swine flu.
The latest deaths are in Morgan and Madison counties. The most recent was a Madison County man in his 60s.
Just before that, an 18-year-old man in Morgan County died from swine flu.
Both deaths were reported last week.
Dr. Jim McVay with the Alabama Department of Public Health says parents are urged to get their children vaccinated. County health departments will offer more vaccination clinics in the coming weeks, as the state receives more vaccine. You can also call your family physician to see if they have any vaccine available.
