Swine flu Miss. death toll at 14

The Mississippi H1N1 ?swine flu? death toll has risen again.

According to the state Department of Health, 14 deaths have been reported in the state.

The last reported death attributed to the novel flu virus was on Dec. 16, in Tate County, according to the Health Department.

There have been 1,279 cases of swine flu in Mississippi.

Vaccines are available at all local county health departments. The injectable vaccine and the nasal mist vaccine both are free of charge.
