800 000 Norwegians have the swine flu

Norway has been hit hard by the flu. Norwegian Folkhelseinstituttet estimates that every six Norwegian infected.
The pandemic has spread rapidly across the country and the number of ill has increased considerably in Norway in recent weeks. Now the Norwegian Institute of Public Health has estimated that 800 000 Norwegians infected with swine flu.
The estimate is based on data from 201 clinics covering around fifteen percent of the population. According to Verdens Gang's web edition has 623 admitted to hospital for swine influenza between 1 September and 9 November.
So far, the flu caused sixteen deaths in Norway.
In Denmark, the spread of H1N1 have not as extensive. Statens Serum Institute reports that the number of infections is growing rapidly and that a epedemi may account for the door within a few days.
According to recent reports from the Swedish Institute of Infectious Disease Control, the number of Swedes infected sharply and is now showing 2 771 verified influenza cases. Six people have died from the disease
