HARBIN, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- A seven-year-old boy in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province died of seasonal influenza and severe pneumonia Friday, local health authorities confirmed Saturday.
The A/H1N1 strain was found in the flu viruses infected the first grader at Yingjun Primary School in Suihua City, the provincial health bureau said.
The A/H1N1 flu has earlier caused two deaths in the country -- an 18-year-old woman in Tibet who died on Oct. 4, and a 43-year-old woman who died on Oct. 16 in Tibet's neighboring province of Qinghai.
