5th swine flu-related death in St. Lucie Co.

(AP) ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FL-- St. Lucie County has recorded its fifth swine flu-related death.
According to the St. Lucie County Health Department a 53-year-old man is the latest victim.
The health department says he had underlying health conditions.
The health department continues offering the following advice:
People should continue to wash their hands frequently, stay home from work or school if they feel ill, and cover their mouths with a tissue or their sleeve if they are coughing.
Avoiding crowded indoor gatherings can help prevent infection and these common sense precautions will greatly reduce the risk of transmission of all flu viruses whether seasonal or H1N1 Swine Flu.
Those with flu-like illness should stay home for at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever, or signs of a fever, without the use of fever-reducing medicines.
People experiencing cough, fever and fatigue, possibly along with diarrhea and vomiting, should contact their physician especially if they have underlying health conditions.
