Second death from H1N1 reported in Onondaga County

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) ? The Onondaga County Health Department says a second person has died as a result of the H1N1 swine flu.

Dr. Cynthia Morrow, the Onondaga County Health Commissioner, said the individual, an adult, had underlying medical conditions. Dr. Morrow would not release any further information about the individual, citing privacy concerns.

The total number of confirmed cases of H1N1 swine flu in Onondaga County is now 70, including nine hospitalizations and two deaths.
