22nd Kansan dies from H1N1

A 72-year-old Wichita area woman has been reported dead from H1N1 by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Twenty-two Kansas have died from H1N1 to date.

The woman, died Tuesday, December 8 from the virus. She had pre-existing helath conditions that put her at risk from complications.

KDHE advises individuals continue frequent handwashing and other precautions to avoiding catching the virus. Vaccination clinics are still being offered throughout the state.
