Family members say 22 year old Claudia Hernandez passed away Tuesday morning.

A relative says Hernandez suffered kidney and lung damage related to the virus.

She was pregnant when she was admitted to Wellington Regional last month. The infant was delivered but survived only 5 days.

WEST PALM BEACH — A 22-year-old woman is the 12th Palm Beach County resident to die of the H1N1, or swine flu, virus, the county's health department said Tuesday.

The H1N1 vaccine is now available to all of Palm Beach County, and free vaccines will be available at:
  • Christa McAuliffe Middle School, Boynton Beach 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today
  • Jupiter High School, Jupiter, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday
  • Boynton Beach High School, Boynton Beach, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday
  • Lantana Health Center, 1250 Southwinds, Lantana, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday
  • Palm Beach County Health Department, suburban West Palm Beach, by Appointment.

A 22-year-old woman is the 12th Palm Beach County resident to die of the H1N1, or swine flu, virus, the county's health department said Tuesday.

Claudia Hernandez, who was pregnant when she was diagnosed, died after nearly three weeks in a coma at Wellington Regional Medical Center.

The family will hold a wake today and a funeral at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Baptiste said.
