105 persons found carrying cholera bacteria in Nepali capital

KATHMANDU, July 7 (Xinhua) -- A total of 105 persons among those admitted after suffering from gastroenteritis in various hospitals in the Nepali capital Kathmandu Valley have been found carrying the cholera bacteria.
According to the National News Agency, RSS Saturday's report, a large number of people suffering from diarrhea and vomiting have been coming for treatment in the valley's Tropical Diseases Hospital, Teku, Patan Hospital and Kanti Children's Hospital among others.
Contaminated water and food is said to be the reason for the increasing rise in the number of people suffering from the gastroenteritis including Cholera in the valley.
