More listeriosis cases confirmed

Listeriosis cases linked to contaminated cantaloupe from a Colorado farm continue to mount in Kansas and Missouri.
Kansas health officials said Friday that federal investigators have confirmed that three more listeriosis cases in the state are part of the national outbreak, bringing Kansas’ total to 10. Three of the people have died.

Listeriosis cases linked to contaminated cantaloupe from a Colorado farm continue to mount in Kansas and Missouri.
Kansas health officials said Friday that federal investigators have confirmed that three more listeriosis cases in the state are part of the national outbreak, bringing Kansas’ total to 10. Three of the people have died.
In Missouri this week, an 84-year-old became the second person in the state to die after developing listeriosis linked to the cantaloupe. So far, there have been six confirmed cases in Missouri; all have been hospitalized.
