Yokohama restaurant ordered closed after O157 germs detected in customer

YOKOHAMA -- The city of Yokohama on May 16 ordered a barbeque restaurant in the city indefinitely closed after germs detected in a man who ate there and whose companion became seriously ill were found to genetically match E.coli O157 germs that caused food poisoning deaths in Toyama Prefecture......

5th death linked to yakiniku chain

TOYAMA--A teenager hospitalized in critical condition for food poisoning in April after eating at a yakiniku barbecue restaurant died Saturday, the Toyama prefectural government said Sunday.
