    A Monkeypox virus genome was obtained from a second Belgian case at the Rega Institute, KU Leuven. Viral DNA was extracted from each swab sample (three in total) using the QIAamp DNA Mini Kit (QIAGEN) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
