    16:19, September 28, 2020

H5N6 avian flu has broken out in Dien Lien commune, Dien Chau district

On the afternoon of September 27, the Agriculture Service Center of Dien Chau district destroyed 105 ducks infected with avian influenza H5N6 at the farmer household of Mr. Cao Xuan Thuong, hamlet 6, Dien Lien commune. Before that, on September 24, when he discovered that Mr. Thuong's ducks were scattered to death, they tested positive for H5N6 flu. Because Mr. Thuong did not vaccinate ducks, his family did not receive the prescribed support when he was destroyed.
Along with the destruction of the ducks, Dien Lien commune sprayed and disinfected, sprinkled lime in the affected livestock households and households around the epidemic area, and checked the livestock households in the area to vaccinate. for livestock flocks, set up a stop to prevent birds from circulating in epidemic areas. At the same time, sign a commitment with families not to kill meat, not to sell well, to isolate sick poultry, not to litter carcasses indiscriminately, to perform hygiene and disinfection of barns according to epidemic prevention instructions.

In 2018, Dien Lien commune, Dien Chau district also destroyed nearly 2,500 ducks in Dien Lien commune due to the H5N1 influenza epidemic.
