    NOTICE
    Situation translated influenza A (H1N1)
    Department of Preventive Health and Environment, Ministry of Health announced in 2001 for deaths related to influenza A (H1N1) on December 28, 2009 as follows:

    Male patients, aged 64, address: Department of Me, Van Giang, **** Yen. Patients with a history of hypertension 8 years now, disease onset on June 12, 2009 with symptoms of fever heat, cold gai, or white sputum. Patient self-treatment at 03 days but did not help, then visit and enter the Central Military Hospital 108 diagnosed with severe pneumonia. Here, patients are antibiotic treatment and PCR test results positive for influenza A virus (H1N1). Patients treated drug-resistant virus (Tamiflu) 6 on the condition does not help. On December 18, 2009, the patient be forwarded to the tropical disease hospital in the Central. Here, patients continued treatment Tamiflu and antibiotics immediately after admission. However, the situation does not improve lung inflammation and disease evolutions increasingly severe, the patient death on December 25, 2009 at 16h50.

    Thus, on December 28, 2009 to 1700, Vietnam Men has recorded 11,104 cases positive for influenza A (H1N1), 53 cases of death.

    Recommended by the Ministry of Health:
    Today's winter weather is creating favorable conditions for progress influenza A (H1N1) continued processing complex, to limit the epidemic in the community, the Ministry of Health recommends:
    1. Student, students, teachers, staff members working in schools who are working in offices, people live and work in areas such as the concentration of machines, factories, industrial parks, apartment buildings, dormitories ... actively tracking health daily to detect symptoms of flu. If there is doubt expressed influenza or flu is to proactively isolate and report to medical units and agencies know to be consulted and timely support.
    2. Pregnant women, especially pregnant women at this stage last three months of pregnancy, birth women were subject to high risk, serious complications occur easily when infected with influenza A (H1N1) so have expressed doubts the flu need to health facilities for counseling, treatment and timely limited mortality for both mother and child.
    3. Children under age 2 are easy to feel objects contaminated with influenza A (H1N1), the risk of serious complications and high mortality is expressed so as to bring suspected influenza grandchildren to health facilities to private timely advice and treatment.
    4. People with chronic diseases (heart disease, asthma, tuberculosis, diabetes, obesity, malnutrition, AIDS patients, elderly patients ...), system, children need to be particularly important health care to her, avoid contact with suspect infected, the disease has manifested need medical facility for examination and treatment in time.
