Situation translated influenza A (H1N1)
Department of Preventive Health and Environment, Ministry of Health announced in 2001 for deaths related to influenza A (H1N1) on November 31, 2009 as follows:
Male patients, aged 57, address: Phuong Lien ward, Dong Da district, Hanoi. Patients with a history of malignant malaria in Africa recurs several times.
On November 22, 2009 patients appears high fever, headache, fatigue 2 days after the end of fever. November 24, 2009 fever patients to return to the cycle, at home with the flu drug treatment, usually without help.
On November 29, 2009 to examine patients and treatment in hospital in a state of Vietnamese French high fever, headache, dry cough, difficulty breathing, convulsions of the face. In this patient examination, treatment and product samples from the test, the patient's death on November 31, 2009 with the diagnosis: blood infections / respiratory failure / Malaria malignant.
On July 12, 2009, [edit: 12/7] Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology central response of patients with test results positive for influenza A (H1N1).
Thus, on December 10, 2009 to 1700, Vietnam has recorded 11,040 cases positive for influenza A (H1N1), 47 cases of death.

Today's winter weather is creating favorable conditions for progress influenza A (H1N1) continued processing complex, to limit the epidemic in the community, the Ministry of Health recommends:
1. Student, students, teachers, staff members work in schools actively tracking health daily to detect symptoms of flu. If a disease manifestations (fever, cough, sore throat ...) are not in school, and family inform the managing board, local health for advice; if detected flu symptoms while at school is active isolated in separate rooms, inform managing board, health authority in the school to handle promptly, to avoid spreading.
2. Those who work in offices, especially people living and working in the areas of concentration as plants, factories, industrial parks, apartment buildings, dormitories ... if expression flu or flu is suspected to proactively isolate and report to medical units and agencies know to be consulted and timely support.
3. Pregnant women, especially pregnant women at this stage last three months of pregnancy, birth women were subject to high risk, serious complications occur easily when infected with influenza A (H1N1) so have expressed doubts the flu need to health facilities for counseling, treatment and timely limited mortality for both mother and child.
4. Children under age 2 are easy to feel objects contaminated with influenza A (H1N1), the risk of serious complications and high mortality is expressed so as to bring suspected influenza grandchildren to health facilities to private timely advice and treatment.
5. People with chronic diseases (heart disease, asthma, tuberculosis, diabetes, obesity, malnutrition, AIDS patients, elderly patients ...), system, children need to be particularly important health care to her, avoid contact with suspect infected, the disease has manifested need medical facility for examination and treatment in time.
6. At present, progress influenza A (H1N1) continues to spread in the community even stronger in rural areas and remote areas downtown, which has a fatality.
