Vietnam: Haiphong reports first A/H1N1 case of 2015
The patient, named Pham Trung San and born in 1955, was in coma and had suffered respiratory failure due to pneumonia after five days of fever. San is a resident of Tam Cuong Commune in Vinh Bao District of the city.
San tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus in tests conducted by the city's preventive medicine centre.
He is being treated in an isolated room, following the health ministry's treatment plan. He is the first A/H1N1 case to be reported in the city in 2015.
