    1.1. Chicken flu

    During the day, have reported new outbreaks arise in Ba Ria - Vung Tau:

    Ba Ria - Vung Tau: As reported by the Animal Health Agency Region VI, from the date 03/12/2015 has occurred outbreak of avian influenza A / H5N1 in a broiler farm (a total of 42,000 chickens child) of Suoi Rao, Chau Duc district for 1,900 chickens get sick and die. 14.12.2015 On the whole chicken rest (40 100 children) were destroyed. Local Animal Health Department is working with local governments implement anti-epidemic measures prescribed.

    Currently, there are 05 Bird flu outbreaks occurred in 05 provinces within 21 days, including:

    (1) 01 Nghe An outbreak of avian influenza A / H5N6 in Dien Hong, Dien Chau district (past 18 days);

    (2) The province of Lai Chau has 01 outbreaks of avian influenza A / H5N6 in Decision Thang Ward, Lai Chau town (past 19 days);

    (3) The Quang Ninh Province has 01 outbreaks of avian influenza A / H5N6 in Ming Cam commune, Ba Che District (past 07 days);

    (4) Quang Nam has 01 outbreaks of avian influenza A / H5N6 in Tam Hiep commune, Nui Thanh district (past 05 days);

    (5) Ba Ria - Vung Tau with 01 outbreaks of avian influenza A / H5N1 in Suoi Rao, Chau Duc district.

    Animal disease situation

    1.HPAI

    Today, there is no new outbreak reported from provinces.

    Currently, there are 03 HPAI outbreaks detected in 03 provinces, which are not yet over 21 days as below:

    (1) Quang Ninh province: 01 A/H5N6 outbreak in Minh Cam commune, Ba Che district (was over 16 days);

    (2) Quang Nam province: 01 A/H5N6 outbreak in Tam Hiep commune, Nui Thanh district (was over 14 days);

    (3) Ba Ria ? Vung Tau province: 01 A/H5N1 outbreak in Suoi Rao commune, Chau Duc district (was over 10 days).

      Currently, there are 02 outbreaks of avian influenza A / H5N6 occurred in 02 provinces within 21 days, in particular:

      ( 1) Quang Ngai Province with 01 outbreak occurred in Tinh Tra, Son Tinh district (past 03 days);

      (2) Kon Tum province has 01 outbreak occurred in Dak Kan, Ngoc Hoi district.

        I. Animal disease situation - 12/01/2016

        1.HPAI

        Today, there is one new outbreak reported from Tuyen Quang province:

        Tuyen Quang province: On 9 January 2016, an HPAI A/H5N6 occurred in two livestock households located in Duc Ninh commune, Ham Yen district. The outbreak resulted in 2.456 birds infected (2.256 chickens, 150 ducks and 50 muscovy ducks), 150 birds died (90 chickens, 50 ducks and 10 muscovy ducks). All the infected birds had been culled. The SubDAH incorporated with the local authority applied all control measures following regulations.

        Currently, there are three HPAI A/H5N6 outbreaks detected in three provinces, which are not yet over 21 days as following:

        (1) Quang Ngai province: 01 outbreak in Tinh Ha commune, Son Tinh district (was over 4 days);

        (2) Kon Tum province: 01 outbreak in Dak Kan commune, Ngoc Hoi district (was over 2 days);

        (3) Tuyen Quang province: 01 outbreak in Duc Ninh commune, Ham Yen district.
