Doctors Seeing Flu Patients Who Got Vaccinated
By Kevin Cokely
Doctors say they are seeing more patients with the flu even though they got flu shots.
"Several cases a day of people with the flu, and these were just regular people ? several of them whom had been vaccinated for the flu," said Dr. Curtis Johnson at North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills.
"What I wondered is if we've got a resistant flu bug this year," Johnson added.

The vaccinated patients do have milder symptoms, according to Johnson, and said his colleagues report the same thing.
"It is still concerning that, you know, we're having people who are vaccinated who are still getting the flu," said Johnson.
