On Saturday, a second illegal immigrant youth was confirmed to have swine flu, which is known as the H1N1 virus.

According to Action 4 News in Texas, "Vice President of the National Border Patrol Council #3307 Chris Cabrera confirmed the cases late Saturday morning." Cabrera told the outlet "that one case was confirmed at the Brownsville Border Patrol Station and another at the Fort Brown Border Patrol station, also located in Brownsville."

The first case of swine flu was confirmed last week, and Cabrera said that "an estimated 120 people are being isolated at the two stations because they were exposed to the" illegal immigrant youth who had swine flu. Cabrera said that, "if someone is released and they are symptomatic, it could spread rapidly?

I agree completely with you... but this news is interesting becouse it witnesses the circulation of influenza virus at low level in the summer months

I agree with both of you.

It is shameful exploitation of the immigration controversy in the US.

At the same time it is interesting to document cases of H1N1 flu outside of the typical flu season time period of roughly October-April.
