KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The flu is hitting a Knoxville family of four harder than anyone could have imagined, sending a young father and husband to the hospital. The Monday family telling us John Monday is now on a ventilator in critical condition.
Loved ones describe John in one word, tough. That's why they say they're so overwhelmed and worried the flu has hit him this hard.

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The Ridge Community Church told 6 News that member John Monday, who had been battling H1N1 and double pneumonia, passed away Thursday afternoon after taking a turn for the worse.
