The H1N1 flu virus has returned to South Dakota, causing two deaths among 68 cases.
The virus is a similar strain to the lethal mutation of influenza that swept across the state and nation in 2009-10, said Lon Kightlinger, the state epidemiologist.
?It?s back again. The virus is circulating again in South Dakota and the rest of the country,? Kightlinger said Tuesday from Pierre.
