The Pennsylvania Department of Health updated the total reported flu cases in the state Tuesday, and the new tally shows that Bradford County's number doubled.
On Monday, the department's website showed that 8,812 cases of the flu in Pennsylvania had been reported to the department, including 13 from Bradford County and one from Sullivan County.
But on Tuesday, the total number of influenza cases in the state that were reported to DOH increased from 8,812 to 11,982.
Bradford County's number went from 13 to 26 while Sullivan County's number remained at one.
Those numbers cover the period from Sept. 29 to Jan. 25.
