    Sentinel Surveillance Summary for March 1 through March 7, 2020

    • The percentage of outpatient visits meeting the criteria for ILI1 was 7.7% (784/10,215).
    • Twenty-six percent (1,692/6,507) of rapid influenza tests performed by sentinel sites were positive; 21% were influenza B.
    • Three percent (22/767) of RSV tests performed by sentinel laboratories were positive.

      1Influenza-like illness is defined as having a fever (>100?F) combined with a cough and/or a sore throat.
