    Southern Nevada Health District
    During the week ending May&#16 0;05, 2012, the following viru ses were identified through PE WSS with a moderate volume
    of testing: Influenza A, Influ enza B, Adenovirus and Human&# 160;Metapneumovirus.

    Influenza viruses are still ci rculating in southern Nevada,  and substantial influenza activity& #160;continues to occur in man y regions as late as Ma y.
    Nationally and in southern Nev ada, the 2011‐2012 season has& #160;been dominated by influenza&#1 60;A (H3) viruses; however, 20 09 H1N1 and influenza B v iruses continue to circulate.

      Influenza B is currently circu lating at a high level in  southern Nevada.
