nfluenza is now classified as widespread in Nebraska. Dr. Katie Vollmuth is a pediatrician at Alegent-Creighton Clinic in Gretna and says over the past few weeks the numbers of cases have increased. The symptoms include fever, headache, body aches, cough and sore throat. Dr. Vollmuth says it hits fast and furious and those who come down with it have no doubt it is more than a common cold.
