ST. PAUL, Minn. - Three more deaths linked to swine flu have been reported in Minnesota, bringing the total number of deaths since April to six.
The state Department of Health says Thursday the latest deaths occurred within the last two weeks. All three people had underlying health conditions and died from complications.
The victims were a Watonwan County woman in her 40s, a Dakota County woman in her 50s and a Ramsey County man in his 50s.
The health department says for most people, the swine flu is not severe, but it can be serious for people with underlying health issues.
To date, the state has reported 324 hospitalized cases of confirmed swine flu.
