MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) ? Since the flu season began twelve weeks ago, 184 people have died as a result of the virus, according to new numbers released this week by the Minnesota Department of Health.
The figures include four new deaths attributable to influenza between March 17 and March 23.
The health department has been tracking the progression of the flu virus, and said during the twelfth week of the flu season, 18 more people were hospitalized with laboratory-confirmed influenza.
