Swine flu has contributed to the deaths of ten Michiganders this fall, including one in metro Detroit.

FOX 2 has learned a 51-year-old Detroit woman died the week of October fifth with the virus. Health officials say the woman also had underlying health conditions.

Swine flu has also turned deadly in Holland, Michigan. The Ottawa County Health Department says a 54-year-old man who became ill with the H1N1 virus died last week.

Health officials say he, too, had underlying medical problems that may have contributed to his death.
