Flu outbreak pushes York Hospital to near capacity

YORK, Maine ? The flu has helped fill York Hospital beds to near capacity, according to Dr. John Alexander, head of emergency services and walk-in services for the hospital.
On Thursday morning, York hospital was at 90 percent capacity, with four out of an estimated 50 beds being available, Alexander said.
Over the past two weeks, the hospital has been full four or five days, he said."
