NEW ORLEANS ? Several New Orleans Catholic schools are reporting an unusually high number of student absences due to illness.
St. Mary?s Dominican School says a little more than 100 students are out.
Jesuit High School reports that 40 students stayed home, and Ursuline Academy says 80 of the high school students are out ? that's 20 percent of the high school student body.
The schools are not sure how many, if any, of the illnesses are from the H1N1 flu virus. Many sick children and teens are not even being tested anymore.
Some of the schools say they are installing hand sanitizers and sanitary wipes in the classrooms.
