VINCENNES (AP) ? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is holding a town hall meeting in Vincennes to discuss vaccination options for the swine flu.

The CDC is asking for public input Saturday as it considers whether to promote vaccination to those most at risk or to implement a more widespread immunization program.

The meeting will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Vincennes University.
Representatives of the CDC and the Indiana State Department of Health will attend the meeting.

The State Health Department has reported 320 confirmed swine flu cases and four deaths in Indiana since April.

State health officials said any current flu activity is likely the H1N1 flu, and is only testing samples submited by physicians or from flu-related deaths.

The department is working with schools on Centers for Disease Control guidelines for response in the event of an outbreak, which includes separating ill students and staff, information on when to stay home, good hand hygiene and respiratory etiquette, routine cleaning, screening, and potential school dismissals.

For the general public, the agency urges proper handwashing, covering coughs and sneezes and containing germs by staying home if you are sick.
