1st swine flu death recorded in Nassau County
Story updated at 5:38 PM on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010 The Nassau County this week had its first H1N1 swine flu death of 2009 confirmed.
The county Health Department learned this week that a lab test in a person who died in November came up positive for the virus. The adult female had pre-existing medical conditions and at the time it was unknown she had H1N1, the Health Department said.
