Confirmed: Swine Flu in Florida

TALLAHASSEE, FL -- There are two confirmed cases of swine flu in Florida.
Florida Surgeon General Dr. Ana Viamonte Ros made the announcement this afternoon after a meeting with Governor Charlie Crist.
One confirmed case is an 11-year-old boy at Spring Hill Elementary in Lee County in Southwest Florida.
The other is a 17-year-old girl at Hallandale High School in Broward County.
Governor Crist has asked Dr. Viamonte Ros to declare a public health emergency.
