    Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 Eurasian lineage goose/Guangdong clade 2.3.4.4b has been confirmed in samples from dairy cattle in Idaho (ID), Kansas (KS), Michigan (MI), New Mexico (NM), North Carolina (NC), Ohio (OH), South Dakota (SD) and Texas (TX).
