    A toddler in California died after she was left for hours in a car -- with the heat on and a blanket covering her, according to a coroner's report as authorities said Monday they are investigating her death.

    June Love Agosto, 2, died at a hospital on Sept. 23 after she was discovered inside her mother's vehicle in the unincorporated area of Torrance in Los Angeles County.


    The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a news release that deputies at the Carson station responded to a location regarding a "baby not breathing call" and found the 2-year-old unresponsive. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics transported the girl to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

    An 11-month-old boy died after he and his twin sister were left in a hot car for hours while their father was at work, police said.

    The incident happened Friday at Sunny King Honda in Oxford, Alabama, about 60 miles east of Birmingham.

    (CNN)Twin 3-year-old girls in foster care were found dead Sunday in a hot vehicle in Georgia, according to a statement by the City of Hinesville.

    The statement said someone called 911 at 1:42 p.m. to report that two children who'd been missing had been found unresponsive in a vehicle in the backyard of a home.
    First responders arrived and found the two deceased toddlers inside. The temperature was around 92 degrees Fahrenheit at the time, according to CNN Weather.

      A 4-month-old baby died Tuesday after being left inside a van in Phoenix, authorities said.

      The young child appeared to have been dead for hours when firefighters arrived on scene Tuesday afternoon, as temperatures reached above 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Arizona's sun-drenched capital. The vehicle was parked outside a school district office where one of the child's parents works, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

        The aunt of a 2-year-old girl who died this month after being left buckled in a hot car in Destrehan has been arrested in connection with her death, St. Charles Parish authorities said Wednesday.

        The girl, Avril Sanabria, died Oct. 4, authorities said. Her aunt, Lezly Sanabria, was booked Tuesday on a count of negligent homicide. She was released Wednesday after posting a $25,000 bond, according to Nelson Coleman Correctional Center in Killona.

        Lancaster Child Found Dead Inside Vehicle

        LANCASTER – A two-year-old Lancaster boy was found unconscious Sunday night at 8:50 p.m. in the 800 block of Birchwood Road. The cause of death was unknown at press time.

        The boy’s aunt, who had custody of the child, found him in the family’s SUV. He was discovered missing five-and-a-half hours after the family returned from a trip to Houston.

        There were reportedly six people in the SUV when the family returned home from the vacation.

        Family members said they began to look for the young child when the aunt thought he was with his 14-year-old brother or one of his other two siblings.

        Tampa toddler dies after being left inside hot car for hours

        TAMPA, Fla. -- A 1-year-old girl has died after being left inside a hot car in Tampa for hours on Monday.

        The Tampa Police Department said the girl's parents called 911 around 6:30 p.m. after finding their toddler in their Jeep.

        Police responded to a home in the 9400 block of North 19th Street. Upon arrival, they found the unconscious toddler inside the car.
