Our daily update is published. States reported 1.9M tests, 174K cases, and 3,577 deaths. 114k people are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 in the US. Only two weeks ago, that number was 131k.

If 114k people are currently hospitalized, which is a drop of 6k from the 7 day average of 121k, then the deaths of approximately 21k people in the last week probably has something to do with it. When people die they usually are not hospitalized any more.
