In hopeful news, the number of people nationwide who are currently hospitalized with COVID-19 dropped today by 3,685. The number of people currently hospitalized with COVID-19 declined by more than 10% from a week ago in 24 states.

Umm....the 7 day average for deaths added per day is roughly 21k. The decrease in current hospitalizations is down about 6k from the 7 day average so maybe the decrease in hospitalizations is taken up by deaths and not a real decrease in patients?
