    Snowy Owl, thanks for posting this very important study. Well crafted and carefully worded, the authors have tackled an extremely difficult subject. In my opinion, medical ethics is and will be the most important subject that we face. However, the report acknowledges the importance of the public buying into the distribution of scarce vaccine and treatments. This is something about which I have grave (no pun intended) concerns. I do not believe that the public will understand, as they watch loved ones die, that certain groups have first priority. Your child is only three years old.....too bad. Conspicuously absent in the report is the mention of the critical importance to governments of all levels to save and foster the tax-paying base. I seem to remember a report from a study group in England that stated that fact with a fire-storm of protest in responce.
