COVID-19: 1,125 community cases and 46 imported cases were detected in the last 24 hours

A total of 1,125 cases of community transmission of COVID-19 and 46 imported cases were detected in the last 24 hours by the Venezuelan health authorities to raise the total number of infections to 36,868, of which 25,416 are recovered, which is equivalent to 69%
The information was released this Wednesday by the Executive Vice President, Delcy Rodr?guez, during a phone call to Venezolana de Televisi?n (VTV), at the end of the daily meeting of the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of COVID-19.
Regarding the community cases, she specified:
Miranda: 287 new cases.
Capital District: 198 new cases, in the 22 parishes, concentrating the largest number of infections in the parishes El Valle, Sucre, Coche and Ant?mano.
La Guaira: 162 new cases.
Nueva Esparta: 102 new cases.
Sucre: 1o1 new cases.
Zulia: 89 new cases.
Aragua: 37 new cases.
Bol?var: 33 new cases.
Hurry: 24 new cases.
T?chira: 20 new cases.
Delta Amacuro: 17 new cases.
Anzo?tegui: 16 new cases.
Lara: 14 new cases.
Yaracuy: 11 new cases.
Monagas: 9 new cases.
Cojedes: 3 new case.
Falc?n: 2 new cases.
Regarding the imported cases, he indicated that 41 are from Colombia, 3 from Brazil, 1 from Peru and 1 from Ecuador. Colombia already registers 5,257 cases in Venezuela.
He added that to date there are 11,149 active cases, of which 6,871 patients are asymptomatic, 3,856 present mild respiratory failure, 337 present moderate respiratory failure and 85 are in Intensive Care Units for severe respiratory failure.
For her part, Rodr?guez regretted reporting the death of six people due to the COVID-19 infection to raise the number of fatalities to 303.
Referring to the number of COVID-19 screening tests applied to date, he specified that there are 1,669,982 tests, which is equivalent to 55,666 tests per million inhabitants.
